Seven Years Strong

Seven years today!!!  Seven, and I’m still healed, walking in the amazing gift of healing Jesus blessed me with!

My morning devotions reminded me of some truths the Lord taught me while living those 25 1/2 years with MS, and since then as I live in His healing:

1) Jesus cares and loves us more than we can fathom, so we can trust Him to help us in our need, in His own way, in His time.

2) God, our Heavenly Father is King, but “His kingdom is not about us. It’s about God…You and I are welcome to enter the throne room, but we have to surrender our crowns at the door.”a

3) Just because I’m healed doesn’t mean everyone who hears of it or sees me will have increased faith or believe at all. Some have, but others think “that was for her but not for me”. Many more scoff.  I think of my own family when I write this.

So, as I begin my day on this 7th anniversary of my healing, I will continue to pray for the greatest miracle of all, the healing of broken, sick and sinful hearts ❤️‍🩹. But I also pray that the Lord will help me stay faithful each day as I “experience miracles of patience and perseverance, endurance and self-control”. As Joni Earackson Tada said, “I’m more concerned with a heart that works than with hands (or legs!)* that function”.

What are you going through today? I know for a fact that God is faithful and will be with you every step of the way. Remember, it’s not how big your faith is, but how big your God is.  I’m praying for you!!
